Committed to community service exemplified by leadership roles in the St. Charles Business Assoc., St. Charles Recreation, St. Charles Soccer Assoc., and St. Charles Farm Bureau
- As a soccer coach of 15 yrs. and board member of the West St. Charles Soccer League. Participated in the expansion of this organization into the St. Charles Soccer Assoc.
- Member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and #2409 Knights of Columbus Council
- Nominated to the class of 2001 of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute in which 40 leaders in the seven parish area in and around New Orleans were chosen to participate in a year long project to explore the strengths and weaknesses of the New Orleans region and promote regionalization.
- Member of :the River Region Caucus, an organization that promotes the sharing of concepts and ideas by leaders of the four River Parish participants, St. Charles, St. John, St. James, and Ascension Parishes.
